2025 Winter Dance Concert (Merry Memories, New and Old)
Casting
The following is the casting for the 2025 Winter Dance Performance. Thanks to all who attended. There are many complicated factors that go into casting any given show. If you were not cast in this production, please don’t let it discourage you from auditioning in the future. We present a show each semester so please come back and audition in late January for our Spring Fear No Art production. I also encourage everyone interested in dancing, to sign up for a dance class.
Please read carefully:
1) Rehearsals begin on various dates. So, be sure you read the dates carefully.
2) If you want to earn college credit for participating in the show, please let me know.
3) Review the cast list for your name. [Note days, times and rooms.] Note: Rehearsals will either be in P106 or P103. If TBA is by the room, then you will be notified which room you will be in before your rehearsal begins.
4) Email me at valpert@clcillinois.edu immediately but no later than Saturday, September 13th confirming or rejecting your participation in each dance that you are cast in.
a) Please do not say “I am confirming all.” Be specific, such as “I am confirming Tues with Lucy at 11:30-1 pm and Sat with John from 11:20-12:30.”
b) Please let me know how you want your name to appear in the Playbill. [Also, let me know if you have preferred pronouns.]
c) I will be adding your email to a group contact list to follow up with information, so please use an email that you check often.
5) If I do not receive an email by the deadline, I will assume that you have dropped out of the show, but I always prefer a courtesy communication email.
